Materials;
1. Petrie dish
2. Water
3. Skittles
4. Petrie tray
5. Jug

Process
Step 1: Grab your petrie dish and place it on a flat surface

Step 2: Get your skittles and place them in your petrie dish.In 5 equal parts.

Step 3:Get your water and pour it over your skittles so its just covering them.

Step 4:Wait until the skittles are dissolved

Findings: Write about what happened. The colors and how they fade into each other.

Reflection: What have I learnt from this experiment? That the colors do not join straight away.

What did the colors do ? They did not mix at first but if you bumped them they would mix.

Did the colors mix together ? If you bumped them.

Why or why not ? Because they got bumped and they did not because the water was still.

Put the top half of the bottle upside down on the top of the other half of the bottle. If you have a funnel you could place it on something like a beaker or a shape that´s like a cylinder.

STEP 3

Make a cone with some filter paper by folding it.Place it on the funnel.Add half a cup of sand first and pack it in.Then add half of cup of pebbles on top of the sand.

STEP 4

Get 1 cup of dirty water and pour it into your funnel and watch the reaction.

Reaction

Its starting to drip but the water got more clear when it came out the funnel.Because it got filtered by all the stuff in it.We didn't get any clumps.
